A poem of the world

Sweet small child filled with light

Forced to hide in the darkest nights

World has forced her to stay in

Trapping her spirit from the wind

Imagination to be her friend

To hold her close till journey's end

Dear girl with heart so bright

Do you not know the world is right?

To be with World you must obey the tide

It commands for your childish spirit to hide

Imagination must be your secret friend

Let it loose and life shall surely end

Lovely babe take these words to heart

Lest World come tear your soul apart

Snuff your light do not let it burn

Remember that it will never be your turn

World is king, World is master

To disobey would be your own disaster

My dear these words are from a friend

Who has gone before to journeys end

I once was like you with soul so bright

But then was killed by World one night

Hide your little head and say your prayers

Then release all of your light into thin air
