crawling over the ash-grey sides
of Yggdrasil;
and yet
if we decide a thing is possible, and
are able to make it happen,
then we can do the impossible:
we can mark the skin of Yggdrasil.
It's when we have done nothing
that we can be assured that
things have happened
as they are meant to,
as they were going to,
as they already were happening
without our intervention.
It is only when we intervene and change things,
so that they happen in a different way,
that we can be assured that we made it possible;
only then have we carved our names
into the deep-ridged side
of Yggdrasil.
