I'm leaving that place, and hope never to think of it again

I ran away.

Away from that sad place,

Where I played ball games,

With the boy named Tommy,

Who lived a room away from mine.

And the tall teaching building,

Where he ended his life,

By jumping down like a butterfly,

Splashing on the ground a crimson red.

So I ran away,

In the midnight when people were sleeping,

Those drifting souls in the dark void.

They didn't see me as I crawled away,

Away from that sad place.
