With a whisper

she said," I cant count the tears of a life with no love"

where are mercy checks and balances ?

when our future hangs in the balance

and the present shows no hands holding presents

and the past well the pasts old glue?

and our bonds coming loose!

Loose light fixtures and faulty

plumbing yet our show

goes on rain or shine.

He says wipe the tears

from your eyes

filled like hearts set in Brine,

with the salt content

leaving slugs at bay,

and we shant look Back.

"We've got dreams to remember"

as Reddings echos facilitate my mood.

and she and I intertwine

to find evening decending upon us.

Our resolution and solution

too not throw our cards in and await the dawn.
