The world
Keeps throwing me around
Like I’m some sort of rag doll,
With no real worth at all.
I’m just another nobody.
Hell tries to pull me under,
But bet yourself
That I’ll remain to stand tall.
I never, ever will fall.
You’ll never see me on my knees
Begging, pleading, for a savior.
The ocean tides try to suck me in –
Ebbing me away from life.
Sorry silly sea,
I am my own life jacket.
And I save myself,
Time and time again.
Nothing and no one in this cruel world
Could stop me or change me.
I’m a fighter,
A lethal adversary
To all those who choose
To oppress the weak;
I am a survivor.
In any battles,
You better put your money on me,
If you want to be rich.
I can take it all;
I’m one badass brick wall,
Ready for the punches.
Cuz’ I’ve been through much
And I have this relentless will.
I’m a fighter,
A lethal adversary,
To all those who choose
To suppress the meek;
I am a survivor.
