I walk through the backyard grass hearing a 'splosh' each step I take. I place my hand on a tree branch and shake feeling the soft gentle trickles of rain drops fall onto me. The smell of the air was fresh and overwhelming. It was as fresh as it ever will be. I place my finger gently on the top of the puddles watching the ripples form to nothing. As I tilt my head back while the sweet soft water drops gently hit my face, I hear the sky grumble. I take off my boots and place my feet in the deep puddle feeling the cool water run between my toes as I get deeper. When I jump up it feels as if I were flying through the rainy sky, but until land with the splash of water covering my legs. For a moment I believed I was in a dark misty rainforest, only to open my eyes and find myself back in my yard. I place my boots on my cold, wet feet and wander off to explore for more. I begin to climb up a tree with raindrops trickling down my face and body. I climbed higher and higher as if my life depended on it until finally I reach the top. I take a deep breath in and softly close my eyes. As quickly as I realised it was time to let go of my life the quicker it happened. I let go of the one thing that kept me safe and fell to the ground beautifully. My eyes were still shut but then opened in a hurry once I saw my own body on the ground. I floated up to where I belonged and had wanted to go my whole life, heaven.
