My full name is Ma. Kristina Ismael, 22 years old, still single and a Business Management graduate who’s addicted to take photos of every single thing around me which I see as a beautiful subject. I only take photos of things, animals and places, but not on People.

So following this guy wasn’t supposed to be my thing. Anyways, I shouldn’t have been stalking him if it wasn’t because of my big brother Leo.

“THIS isn’t good. I’m about to lose that guy!” I told myself as I rounded the corner quickly, but what I saw there made me turn back around.

What the hell?! I cursed with my eyes closed. Now, what am I supposed to do?

My full name is Ma. Kristina Ismael, 22 years old, still single and a Business Management graduate who’s addicted to take photos of every single thing around me which I see as a beautiful subject. I only take photos of things, animals and places, but not on People.

So following this guy wasn’t supposed to be my thing. Anyways, I shouldn’t have been stalking him if it wasn’t because of my big brother Leo.

IT was a peaceful Sunday evening (that happened a week ago) when my big brother suddenly barged into my bedroom without even giving a single knock on the door.

I usually lock my room although my big brother has the spare keys of every room in our house, so locking the door would be completely useless. But hell! This is my room! He shouldn’t barge in like that in a girl’s room! He could have witnessed something that might put us both into an embarrassing situation!

“Will you knock first before entering?!” I barked at him. Good thing I was only watching a movie with my pajamas and sweater that had a drawings of whale on it (which is my favorite) while slacking on my bed.

“Jeez… Sorry, sis.” He said that but his face wasn’t showing it.

I rolled my eyes around and averted my attention back to the movie I was watching. “What do you want?!” I asked on a very offending tone.

He sat beside me on my bed and said. “I have something to tell you. And it’s kind of—”

“I’m not interested.” I quickly interrupted. “And if you want someone to talk to, with your millions of money in your bank account, why not try to use it to buy a person who would listen to your babbling?”

“I’m telling you, sis. It’s worth knowing.” He said, completely ignoring my rude remarks.

I looked up onto the ceiling and blew my bangs away. “Okay, spill it out.” I said this using my very bored voice as if I wasn’t interested on what he’s about to say. I already guessed it’s just one of those stupid things my big brother always sees as interesting which on the other hand, I see as boring.

Leo and I are always opposites in almost all of the things that we like. Although this always happens to us, big brother never seemed to learn on our past experiences in which our opinions were always against on each other. And that would make us bicker with one another and would sometimes think on why and how on earth did we become siblings.

Our parents always seemed to be amused about our constant bickering, though.

Big brother mysteriously smiled at me as if he knew something BIG. But then, he let it slip and turned his gaze onto the TV screen. “Oh, it’s nothing special.” He said on a very bored voice, mocking me. “I just wanna tell you that you’ve got a stalker, though. He always follows you like a shadow wherever you go. I thought you already know, so I didn’t pay any attention to it. But then, I found out that you still hadn’t realized it until now.” He said this as if it wasn’t really a big deal which was contrast on what he was saying awhile ago.

I didn’t quietly understand what he was saying, so I just kept on silent while watching.

And then it hit me!

“What?!” I reacted and turned to him. I was really…really very slow! It took me a few minutes before I realized what he meant.

Did he just say stalker?

Big brother burst into laughter. “Late reaction, sis! You are really slow!”

“Were you just joking me?” I asked, my brows furrowed.

“No. I was serious.” He then stopped from laughing. “Honestly, sis. You really got a stalker. And you’ve got to get rid of him as soon as possible.”

“Who is he? Do you know him? What does he want from me?” I bombarded him with questions.

Leo raised both of his hands on the air, as if surrendering. “Easy, sis. One at a time, okay? First, I don’t know his name. Second, I’ve never faced this guy so I really don’t know him. Third, I don’t have any idea on what he wants from you.”

I gave my big brother a very deadly glare. If looks could kill, Leo might have been dead at that moment. “You really are something, you know.”

“I know, sis. And I’ll take that as a compliment.” He said and put his hands on my shoulders. “It will be your responsibility, sis, to find out who this guy is. And you may bombard this stalker of yours with your millions of questions or kill him with your deadly glares, once you have caught him. I love you, sis. That’s why I’m giving you this brotherly advice.” He said passionately while looking straight into my eyes.

“Will you quit it?” I replied, staring his dark brown eyes with my own. “I’m gonna puke.”

Big brother laughed aloud and headed towards the door as he ran his fingers through his dirty, blonde, spiky hair. “Good night, sis!” he said and shut the door behind him.

I know big brother was just being stupid when he told me that I’ve got a stalker. But that didn’t stop me from eyeing suspiciously all the people around me as I walked along the busy streets in our town. Well, it won’t hurt me if I believe my big brother just once.

And as I was doing this, I noticed a very suspicious-looking guy who was secretly following me wherever I go. Each time I entered a department store, I also noticed him went in. And when I stepped out, the suspicious guy also did.

I knew it wasn’t just a pure a coincidence.alt

And also, this guy really looked very suspicious. I kind of got a chance to study his suspicious ‘get up’ when we both entered a shop with so many mirrors displayed in it. He was wearing dark gray bonnet on his head that matched his very thick sweater. And he wore three, four…or was it five? I really couldn’t tell how many, but he was wearing too many layers of clothes, not to mention his black sweater.

If only I could see his face…

Though the mirrors were a big help, it didn’t help me to study see his face because he was wearing a very dark sunglasses.

I sighed and stepped out from the store. I’ve got to get rid of this guy right away. That’s what I was thinking. But before I could do that, I needed to know who this guy is.

So the first part of the plan is to make him lose me. I mean, lose sight of me.

Good thing it’s Sunday and I already got an idea what to do. So, I went into the direction of our town’s cathedral. I was really very lucky because the mass was already finished the moment I reached the place with my stalker following me behind. He was completely clueless that I was already aware on his presence.

alt I joined in the crowd of the people who just went out from the cathedral and quickly hid myself away from my stalker’s sight.

I saw him confused for a moment and scratched his head after realizing he had lost me. He then decided to give up and walked away afterwards.

And that was the chance I’ve been waiting for.

The time to stalk my stalker!

I giggled at this thought.

I didn’t know that stalking your stalker could be this exciting.

I hastily went into a nearby shop and bought a black jacket and sunglasses to help me disguise myself. After making sure that my stalker wouldn’t be able to recognize me, I then ran into the direction where I last saw my stalker went to.

It took me a few minutes of running before I finally caught up with him, keeping a distance of 10 meters away from him. We were already walking around our town’s mini forest park. He was unknowingly leading the way while I stalked him like a shadow. I was glad because he didn’t seem to notice my presence.

Oh, that was really exciting!

Or so I thought.

He was already leaving the park when I noticed this tiny, lovely flower underneath a vacant bench. By just looking at it, I could tell that it was already about to bloom.

Oh, I really love to take a picture of a flower blooming!

But how should I be able to do that if I was currently stalking someone? I couldn’t just do the two things at the same time!

I scratched my head, problematic.

Jeez! This is troublesome!

I looked into the flower and then shifted my eyes into the suspicious guy who already rounded into the far corner of the mini forest park.

“Oh, bother!” I exclaimed and quickly took out my pen and booklet and hastily made a note about the flower to make me remember it once I’ve finished dealing with my stalker.

I sighed and made a one last glance to the lone flower and ran off to continue stalking my stalker. It was already three minutes ago when I last saw him rounded into the corner.

“This isn’t good. I’m about to lose the guy.” I said this aloud as I rounded the corner quickly, but what I saw there made me turn back around.

“What the hell?!” I cursed.

The suspicious guy I was stalking who was also my stalker was already standing behind me as he leaned on the wall awhile ago. I was so surprised I suddenly halted and turned back around.

“So, you were my stalker?” the guy asked in an amusing tone of voice.

“What?!” I reacted and quickly turned to face him. “I’m not your stalker! You’re the one who were stalking me!” I said abruptly.

The guy slowly took off his sunglasses and flashed his very sexy smile at me.

I suddenly went pale.

I knew this guy!

He’s the dark haired-aqua eyes guy who was my long time crush since grade school!

Joshua Lazaro.

My big brother’s best friend!

“Leo said he was deeply worried about you always walking alone on the streets because of your addiction on photography. So he asked me to follow you around wherever you go.” Joshua explained.

My brown eyes widened as I looked straight into his eyes. “You’ve been tricked!”

Joshua looked bewildered. “Why’s that?”

“Big brother said somebody’s stalking me. And he told me to find it out myself!” I explained and hit my forehead with my right hand. “How foolish I had been to fall on his stupid tricks! My big brother is really such a big dork! I’m sorry for all the trouble he had caused you, Joshua.” I apologized while seeing my brother’s devilish grin in my head.

Joshua once again flashed me a very sexy, sweet smile that could have melted me if I hadn’t composed myself quickly. “Oh, I don’t mind following you around. Today has been a very exciting day for me. I’m already looking forward for the next one.”

alt I blushed after hearing him say that.

“Hey, wanna go for a walk, Kris?” he asked and offered his left hand to me.

I smiled as I accepted his gentle, warm hand. “Yeah, sure!”

Hitting my stupid big brother straight to his annoying face could wait for a couple of hours, I guess. alt
