This came from a short writing prompt. The idea was to write a scene showing a man and a woman arguing over the manâ€™s friendship with a former girlfriend. The girlfriend and the argument itself were not allowed to be mentioned.

Robbie is a troubled teen, who has landed in juvie more than enough times. His problem is that he just wants to belong somewhere. His father won't pay any attention to him, so Robbie turns to a local gang to become accepted, and hopes they will take him into the group.
Jessica Wilber fell in love with a mysterious man. The thing that made him mysterious, is that he never took off his sunglasses. When Jessica takes him on a date, she removes the sunglasses, and finds something shocking.
