Clapping Girl - My first published story. Answers the question: what do...
I write mainly short stories. Among other things I'm working on a novel-in-stories. A story from that collection won the UCLA Writing Program's Kirkwood Award, and several others will be performed in September of 2008 as part of the New Short Fiction Series, LA's 'live literary magazine,' which has in the past featured writers such as Aimee Bender. I have been published in Night Train, Gentle Strength Quarterly, and sub-scribe. Before moving to the west coast I ran an independent bookstore in Boston with my brother.
