The North Pole is melting and it's a disaster for...
Born in England of South African and Lithuanian parents, I am a citizen of six countries, without all the passports -yet! I married a Cullen, of the Vampire Cullens, and am still bleeding at the neck occassionally, not able to convert to full vampire-hood myself due to silver spoon genes... or what?
The silver spoon has infused my life with a spiritual bent, and I agree with the Dalai Lama that true satisfaction comes from serving others. My spoon is bent to deliver!
Happily, I am currently lobless, housed comfortably, and manage to find work and healthy food when I need it. However, I am deeply in debt, feeling poorly about the student loans that I'll never shake off (mine and number one and only son's), and being sued now for my short-sighted transfer of thousands to the Discovr Card. Who knew? It promised a lifetime interest rate of 3.2%, right? Then I was a day late on one payment, and kaboooom, big time: interest rate is 28%!
Oh, and there were other unwise disasters, perpetuated by the need I have to bleed, I'm guessing: mistakes that should have never happened, but I have no energy to fight or disagree with this nonsense. Of course, this credit report fiasco keeps me jobless. Or something does. Maybe it's just me...
With all my degrees, knowledge, experience, and expertise, I should be able to pull out of this nosedive and create the consulting business of my dreams. And yet, I am distracted.
I just read my last blog, thinking then my success would be in becoming a Sleep Therapist. Hm. Next day, some trauma I guess, forgot about it.
Then the missed appointment for memory loss assessment!
No, I hadn't forgotten it. I'd cancelled it, as i couldn't afford to pay even the sliding scale fee... oh well.
My years of meditation serve me well in daily life, and my great joy of working with babies and children for years has been rewarded with: two baby granddaughters, the incarnation of Goddesses- so smart, so kind, so amazing, so loving.
Now, I want to be able to be near them all the time! That is the unfolding mystery of my life...
