When I was younger I travelled as much as I could around Southern Africa, following in my dad's footsteps I suppose, fishing and hunting where I could to the best of my ablitiy. I got bored quickly with the various jobs I did, so I moved on to the next experience. I never made much money, but I met a lot of interesting people, and experienced a lot of "adventures". I got well "educated" too. In my stories I tell of these people and adventures, changing names where I think it is needed as I do not have the money to settle heavy law-suites when people might feel I harm their reputations! I hope you have as much of a laugh reading the stories as I had living them, but, you dont have to cry! I have done that at the times when I felt it to be the only way, I got over it!
Wrote series of articles on culling for S.A. Farmers Weekly. Had a weekly column on 'Hunting' in Northernn Free State Herald for two years.
