Fining Peace

Short Story by Mag Lady

A short story about a girl trying to find peace.

Hi, I'm Mag Lady. I'm from Durham, NC (which is pretty awesome socks).

I'm a sock freak! And llamas are cool

Sometimes, when I'm wearing socks, I can't find my toes.

Every teacher who has ever seen my writing has told me I use too many commas. I guess it's true.

I'm trying to learn Japanese to go there this summer. I'm a bit of an Otaku, and love manga and anime and asian dramas.

I also speak Ginger (being a ginger) and gnomish (seeing as Faye is my friend).

I have a thing for accents, mostly ones from England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales. Those places.

Sometimes I imagine what it would be like if there was someone whose shoulder I could rest my head on.

I always feel like people from public schools give me the hairy eyeball/ evil eye/ whatever you want to call it, because I go to a private school.

My favorite POV is second. And I try to write something every weekend (I usually end up deleting it, but at least I did).

I write the best when I'm either a) surrounded by writers b) am emotionally damaged (sad, heart crushed, happy, etc.) or c) when I'm having a ginger moment.

Over the summer of 2011 I went to Duke TIP in Boone, NC there I met a lot of people and was famous as the Ginger.

I've found that chocolate tastes best when you have a glass of milk to share it with.

Babbling is fun. And so Is being random.

I hate it when some random person comes up to me and tells me they need ot pee. Rude.

I love to sing, and I'm being trained Classically by a professor at Duke, but Pop is fun too.

I'm more of a jazz person tho, and my favorite music is from the 60s.

Theres a guy who live in Texas, his name is Sam, and I want to hit him for crushing my friend's heart.

Anne of Green Gables is the first book I've ever read that I could never get sick of.

Beka Cooper and anything Tamora Peirce is awesome. The Leviathan trilogy is pretty beast as well. (Get it? Beast? ?? Oh, well, nevermind)

Well, now that I've said all of that, Have fun reading!
