Hey. Thanks for looking at this! I have never really uploaded or shared my stuff before, so if you have anything that you think could be improved, or if I made some grammar-ish or splelling errors, () please feel free to say.
A little bit about me:
a) I play the fiddle. I am very interested in Cape Breton, Irish, and Klezmer styles, but I am making an effort to learn how to read and play classical music.
b) I knew that I wanted to be a writer since I was about five years old. The first story I wrote was on my big blue typewriter and it was about "a little old lady who lived in a trash can. On the inside, though, everything was made of chocolate!!!" I thought it was hilarious at the time. Now I look back and realize what a self-centered little kid I was, but, oh well.
c) I write lots of different genres, but my favorite to read is probably realistic fiction and sci-fi. (Woah, contradiction!)
d) I'll just say this right now: I believe in magic. And that goes for Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy, etc. But wait! Let me explain:
I've known that "Santa Claus" wasn't real for about two years. But the actuall spirit of Santa is what is real. It's magic. I am Santa Claus, my parents, my friends. Santa is someone who cares, cares enough to give kids gifts. Santa is christmas spirit. Not christmas spirit as in, "Oh, let's go get a christmas tree, sing carols, eat delicious food, and get cool presents." That's fine, but below that, there's something else. Love. Peace. Good will. Putting away differences, acceptance, giving, not getting. That's who Santa Claus is. And you can't say that there isn't at least a little bit of magic hidden away there.
Also, how can you not say science is magic? I mean, it's magical that any plant can take sunlight and turn it into green life? (Yes, I know that there's more to it than that, but still.) Or, that an invisible force (gravity) can keep water and humans from drifting off into space! I could go on, and on, and on, but you get the idea.
e) I love reading and acting and watching comedy, but I'm not as good as writing it.
Now you know something about me, so, it's time to read my books.
Thank you for sticking with me this far, if you did.
Why are you still reading this?
I have no more to say
You really should stop
Don't you have better things to do?
Good-bye! *Hint hint*
