Born in Long Beach California in 1959, this Southern California native has been a working pro in Music, Film & Television since the age of 13. Marshal started off as Music and Theater major in Santa Barbara in the early 80s, eventually changing his major to Marketing and Advertising at San Diego State and transferred to San Francisco State to work on his Masters, all the while continuing to play music and be creative in the Arts. Marshal ended up studying acting with legendary Bay Area acting coach Jean Shelton in San Francisco. Mrs. Shelton had worked with Stella Adler in New York, and had trained the likes of Danny Glover and Howard Hessman, so Marshal figured he was in good hands.

While living in the San Francisco Bay Area, Marshal continued to study acting and work on independent films appearing in Cold Comfort, Breakfast with the Colonel, Decisions, In Night Forrest, Prelude, and Reality Check. While in the Bay Area, Marshal earned his SAG Card working on the big budget studio films Fearless staring Jeff Bridges, So I Married an Axe Murderer starring Mike Myers and Mrs. Doubtfire staring Robin Williams before moving back to Los Angeles.

Eventually working his way back to Southern California in 1994, over this 14 year span Marshal has appeared in approximately 30 independent feature films as well as landing a co-staring role in the Fox Kids #1 daytime series BeetleBorgs Metallix. Beetleborgs Metallix was in production from 1997 through 1998, airing in approximately 13 million homes daily and shot about 100 episodes as well as a DVD Movie. Beetleborgs Metallix is still currently in syndication.

During the rest of the 90s, with appearances in independent features, The Honorable, Straight Right, The Doorman, N-4, Southern Man, The Herdsman, Beetle Borgs the Movie, Sorceress II, Mona, The Prayer, Mr. Lucky, Blood Revenge and Self Sanction, Marshal has definitely cut his teeth in the world of independent film making.

Needing to recharge his artistic battery, Marshal decided to take a break from professional acting and focus on his first creative love, Music. With the formation of 3 Deep Records & Entertainment in 2000, Marshal put his musical skills to work composing, producing and developing artists. From 2000 to 2005 he produced two Hip Hop records, "J-Tripz, Chicken Wingz, Grits & Spitz" (2005), "PoBaby, Act Like You Know Me", (2004), an Alternative Rock CD, "Latitude Zero", (2003) and the Experimental House Dance CD, "Das Bicth, Metal Haus" (2002), all under the 3 Deep Records Label.

After this 6 year hiatus from professional acting Marshal is back in the saddle once again and is as busy as ever. In 2006 Marshal completed 5 films; the Horror Thriller "Naked Beneath The Water" produced by Velvet Hammer Films; the Urban Horror Thriller "Nailed" in a Supporting Role produced by Ben Katz Productions, "The Shadow Man" in the lead role for J.K. Films, the Independent Horror Thriller Feature "Amhurst" in a Supporting role for Lifeline Entertainment, and the Independent Dramatic Feature Film "Exodus?", in the Lead Role for C.V.M. Productions.

For 2007 Marshal has completed filming the Independent Film "Redux", the Action/Adventure Drama "The Baja Drop" for Nautical 12 Productions, and is currently in preparation to begin filming the Suspense/Horror/Thriller "Sinister Heaven" in the Supporting Lead role in April 2007. Marshal is also attached to the Horror/Thriller Feature "The Innocents", and the Political Dramady Road Film "American Soul" in a Supporting Role to begin filming in the summer in 2007.
