I'm not dead! I just haven't been writing much fiction recently. I've done a couple of folio pieces for English but I won't upload these until after the Summer, in case the examiner finds them and accuses me of plagarising myself. There's a couple of other projects I have in mind...

Ever since the end of August I've been living in temporary accommodation after my house was struck by lightning. Schoolwork is also beginning to increase again, so I can't give much of a schedule for when pieces will appear on here. But appear they shall.

'Imaginings of the Life Ahead' is what became of 'The Bucket List'. Not sure about what will be up next... Another short story (the boat one) perhaps. I've also had the idea of a series of fictional diary entries detailing the rise of the Grammar Party. Maybe a poem or two. And, if I feel brave enough, something really old...

Apart from chronic laziness, I am working on a short story. It's not great, but I'm hoping it will get me back into the habit of prose writing. All I shall say is that it's set on a ship, and the protagonist is a girl called Sam... And my second short story, titled 'The Bucket List' for a local writers' group, shall also be written at some point in the next few weeks.
