My name is Matt, and I like to dance.

...Well, not really. That's more of an inside joke with my friends than anything.

I am Matt, though. I'm a student, and I am not a compulsive writer like many people are that I've seen. I do it for fun when there's an idea there, and I do it because it's fun. I don't spend hours on end sitting here and writing, that's for sure, but stuff does come out. Also, note I am awful at actually naming the stuff I write, yeah. You should also expect quantity over quality since I'm going to be pumping out here just about everything I write, and it all isn't phenomenal. So...yeah. Most of it's poetry, though.

I would like to become a teacher some day in secondary education (high school), and I will likely major in some kind of linguistics study when I go to college. I speak more than half of the Spanish language, for sure - I am still not familiar with a lot of the vocabulary, however I can converse easily with someone who speaks Spanish, if they speak clearly (though some accents deeply, deeply confuse and lose me). I am about one and a half to two years ahead of the course right now, in terms of grammatical concepts.

I play baseball and run track, and I am a huge fan of Boston sports teams in general. I'm a sports fanatic and a graphic artist, but I couldn't draw something to save my life. Go figure.

My favorite band is The Living End. It seems like nobody has ever heard of them, but I really like their stuff.

My friends are awwwesome. You people know who you are. ANITA. You are my chocolate, my one and only chocolate... I dunno about the rest of you though..no, of course you're all awesome.
