The consciousness of sexuality begins in this comfort zone for every human, whether it be the feminine or the masculine as defined biologically by gender.
This comfort zone of non -aware consciousness of sexuality is pre-oedipal.
Every mature individual acquires this phase: that is: amniotic sexuality as the repressed.
The release of this repressed can be problematic, as the sources for this are already constructed in Freud's phallic language, as dark shady bars, as unlit places where light refuses to enter, as the endless desires to seek an expression of companionship with a mate through non-cognitive languages like cooing, gurgling, panting and babbling, and also through the need to touch feel each other embracive surfaces.
From the amniotic-sexuality, the individual emerges to the consciousness of 'organic sexuality'
Thanks to the work of great feminists, philosophers and psychoanalysists like Lucy Irigary and Julia Kristheva &Judith Butler, I have discovered this.
The problem with Dr. Freud is: he has created a monologue of discourse there, creating this arena of sexuality as a phallic discourse.
Freudian discourse has limited psychoanalysis to the organ, the phallic, and its symbolization through the dichotomy of male (castrated) and female bodies (desiring).
The organic phase of sexuality is more complex, as it is multiple, heterodox, labial, and intensely praxial as poly-labial rituals of exploration between partners. How exciting and fantastic is this discourse on sexuality, as non Freudian and non phallic, and how ironic is this:as most women express their sexual discourse as bodies of preference unknowingly, using Freud's language of phallic discourse.
For Freud, this whole gamut of sexuality is all about awakening the phallus, its entry into passage of rites, its triggering orgasm and its limpidness as a finality called death.
For Jung, the disciple of Freud who has broken away from Freud-tried to dispose of the amniotic sexuality and organic sexuality to fantasy- imagery of feminine and masculine archetypes, thus dichotomizing the split to meta-connotation of hermaphroditic fantasy.
