The ravings of a normal man
(10:07 PM; February 10, 2014)
I have just finished an at home test for my history class, I find history class quite easy personally, plus it's actually interesting unlike mathematics. Before that I was at the first dress rehearsal of the musical I'm in. It was quite laid back and chill, which was quite nice. I'm beginning to be quite comfortable with all of it, including my job of Backdrops leader.
Anyway, I'm currently listening to videos in the background as I write this, specifically a Youtuber who reviews "tat" and "knock off electronics", he's British and quite funny, though I won't name him. I appreciate the brand of humor he offers, quite cynical and dark, as well as dry. Though his reactions to the crap he reviews are the crowning achievement.
I am a huge fan of cynical/sarcastic humor. I personally use it all the time. I am very much the "straight man" of the joke. It helps that I am a very good liar, though I don't use it for evil purposes, merely for humorous ones.
I quite enjoy Gatorade, especially blue, which is…… Glacier Freeze, apparently. Gatorade is just very refreshing, though water will always be my favorite drink. I am very picky with water though, no tap water, and only specific bottled water companies. It's crazy to think that there were numerous accounts of deaths caused by Gatorade, because it used to use a very large amount of sugar, which actually dehydrated you. This is why you should always drink water with Gatorade alongside.
I love dressing up in "dress clothes", I feel extremely comfortable and confident in them. I prefer them over T-shirt and Jeans actually, but I personally think you can only dress that way in certain environments, not because you're out of place, but because I worry of what will happen to the clothing. My girlfriend has informed me I should dress that way more often, which annoys me. Why? Because I ask her constantly "is there something you want me to wear specifically?" or "anything I can do to attract you more?", crap like that. What annoys me is she kept saying no, but still adds at later dates. But whatever, I still love her.
Anyway, it's really strange, I watched "The Usual Suspects" a couple days ago, which I had never seen. This is because I knew the ending already, so I just didn't bother. It was a fantastic movie though, Kevin Spacey was fan-fucking-tastic. He always is though. Now, I'm not just going to talk about the usual suspects, in fact, I'm gonna talk about a different movie (I am sorry).
Glengarry Glen Ross is an example of a movie I felt was made for me, it starred some of my favorite actors (Pacino, Spacey, Baldwin, Lemmon), but it also features a story involving the heated environment of a real estate office. But what surprised me most was the beautiful cinematography. It has to be one of the most gorgeous limited locations urban environment, I have ever seen in a film. If you're interested in knowing, my favorite cinematography ever is in The Good The Bad The Weird. This is also one of my favorite Action/Adventure movies (if not my favorite overall). Anyway, the cinematography in Glengarry Glen Ross was varied. It included realistic office environments, as well as neon lit, wet streets. Which was B-E-A-UTIFUL. It was sort of like a smaller version of Drive in that respect.
By the way, I am very gay for rain. I love rain. When I watch a movie or play a game I always obsess over how the rain looks. I stare at rain when it arrives, I personally would like to move to Seattle soon, it's my kind of environment.
Ugh.. I have a blister on my foot from dancing, which is quite bugging me.
I read the novel "The Wolf of Wall Street" after I saw the movie. And it is excellent! It really might be in my top 3 novels of all time, among Catcher in the Rye and The Road. His humor is like mine, it's written with amazing amounts of humanity, and is not holding back. What a great novel that was.
Anyway, that is enough for now me-thinks. It's 10:34 PM and I think sleep sounds quite nice right now.
