"Oh Sophie, what have you done to yourself?" Isaac walked by with a couple of guys laughing. Sophie promptly gave them all the finger.
"I'm declaring my fifteen minutes to be up, after that dare."
Lourdes nodded her head laughing. She followed her to a bathroom.
"This shit is not coming off!" Sophie tried to sound agitated, but looking at her face in the mirror, she couldn't stop laughing.
"Don't rub your skin raw," Lourdes laughed too, "take your time, use a wet towel."
Sophie wet a towel. It was working better. "Truth or Dare?" She said.
"How long are we going to play this game for?"
Sophie paused for a moment. "Celia's not my friend," she said, "in fact, I never liked her very much."
Lourdes studied her, not sure what to say. "Alex and I are just friends."
"You should be glad that wasn't part of the game," she scoffed, "you would have lost." Sophie relit the J, now that most of the gook was off of her face. "Don't you think it's a little late to be claiming that?"
"What is it that you think you know?" Lourdes asked.
Sophie shook her head. "Back to the game." She said.
"Okay, truth," Lourdes said, "but this is the last time."
"Well then, I better make this good." She passed to Lourdes.
There was a knock on the door.
"Occupied." Sophie called out.
"Open up." Alex said from the other side of the door.
Sophie opened the door and let Alexsander inside. "What the hell are you two doing?"
"Nothing," Sophie smiled, "just an innocent game of truth or dare."
"Ahh." Alex said studying her partially smeared, lipstick face. "This one is trouble," he said to Lourdes, "did I mention this?"
"See I told you," Sophie said to Lourdes, "we have a lot in common."
Lourdes said nothing, but smirked.
"Game over." Alex said. "I need her."
"Hold your horses." Sophie said. "We're almost done, just one last question."
Alex looked at Lourdes. Lourdes shrugged her shoulders.
"Truth," Sophie said, "what exactly were you doing, before we arrived at the house today?"
Lourdes looked at Alex, still smirking. "I was sleeping." She said innocently.
Sophie looked to Alex to confirm the truth. If he was smart, and wanted to get her out of there, then he would agree.
"She forfeits the game." Alex said. "Because that was a lie."
"Alex!" Lourdes said.
Sophie clapped her hands together and started laughing. "I knew it!" She said.
"What else would I be doing?" Lourdes asked. "You weren't even there."
"You may have been sleeping, afterwords." Alex smiled. "But I think the rules of the game state you have to tell the whole truth."
"Busted." Sophie said.
"No!" Lourdes tried to protest.
"Which means you automatically default to dare." Sophie high-fived Alex.
"I thought you were hanging with your friends." Lourdes said to him bitterly.
"I came to check on you," he said, "and something tells me I came at the right time."
"That must be a first for you." Lourdes cracked.
"Oh and the gloves come off!" Sophie laughed.
Alex raised an eyebrow at Lourdes. "Do your worst Sophie," he said referring to the dare, "she can take it."
"You know," Sophie started, "my initial idea was to have her do something totally embarrassing. But," she paused, "I think this," she looked back and forth between the two of them, "is more interesting. So I dare you," she pointed at Alex, "to kiss her."
"Wait," Lourdes protested, "you can't do that, he's not apart of this game."
"What are you afraid of?" Sophie asked. "That they're might actually be a spark. I mean, I know you said that the two of you are just friends but-"
Alex looked at Lourdes surprised. Lourdes crossed her arms over her chest and stared back at him.
"But I'm curious to see what will happen." Sophie finished.
"No go." Lourdes said. "He's not apart of the game."
"Fine." Sophie said, turning around and wiping down the rest of her face. "Let me refraise my words. Lourdes, you kiss him. And make it good. You can always tell the truth with a kiss."
Lourdes took a step towards him and planted a quick peck on the lips.
"That's it?" Sophie asked. "That wasn't even half a second!"
"I delivered, that's all that matters." Lourdes said.
"No good, you're not getting off that easy."
"It'll have to been enough."
"Look at me," Sophie said, "I look like I'm wearing blush!"
Lourdes laughed out loud. Alex wrapped his arms around her and pulled her in for a kiss. Lourdes counted. One one-thousand, two one-thousand...she pulled back. "Nope I can't do it! It's like kissing my brother." She threw her hands up in the air. "What can I say."
Sophie tossed the towel down on the bathroom counter. "Yeah," she said moving past them and opening the door, "right." She walked out and closed the door behind her.
"Your brother?" Alex said irritated.
"You fucking told her everything!" Lourdes said in disbelief. If she wasn't so high, it might have come off as angry.
He took a step towards her.
"Un-uh, back up buddy." Lourdes said.
He grabbed one of her wrist.
"Alex, keep your hands to yourself." Lourdes said. "Go back and be with your friends."
"Truth or Dare?" He said smiling.
"No way." She said. "I've learned my lesson."
Alex pushed her against the wall. "You don't want to play with me?" He asked.
"I've played enough of your games to last a lifetime." She said.
"Then I'll make this easy for you." He said licking her top lip with the tip of his tongue.
"I'm going back to the party." She said smiling. But he held her there and kissed her anyway. Lourdes put forth very little effort as he tried to kiss her as passionately as possible. "Is it still like kissing your brother?" He whispered with his eyes closed.
"No," Lourdes breathed, "more like a second cousin."
Alex pulled away. "Oh that's funny!" He said pissed.
"Lourdes put her hand to her mouth and tried not to laugh.
"You enjoying yourself?" He asked.
"Kind of." She said.
"Let's go back." He said opening the door.
"Finally." Some guy said from outside, waiting to be let in.
"You've never been known to give up that easy." Lourdes teased.
"Not now." He said.
"Hey this is your world viking, I'm just trying to survive in it." Lourdes said following him out.
"Right." Alex said, stopping in place, then slamming the door in the guys face. "Hey!" Lourdes could hear the guy yell from the other side of the door. Alex turned around, grabbed Lourdes' face and kissed her. Lourdes put her fingers around his wrist and tried to pull his hands away, but he only tightened his grip. She giggled and squeezed his hips hard until he loosened up.
"What is this suppose to prove?" She asked.
"It's my world you say?" He kissed her again.
"This is not the time or the place." Lourdes said laughing.
Alex turned her around. "If it's my world, then I get to do whatever I want." Lourdes put her hands on the edge of the sink, refusing to budge. "How long have you been waiting on this opportunity?" She asked. Alex used his body weight against her, pinning her against the sink. Then he reached around and grabbed both of her wrist, yanking both her arms behind her.
"Ah!" She said refusing to give in to him as she continued to twist and jerk around. Alex put his head up against hers and talked in her ear. "If you don't bend the fuck over, I'm going to make you wish you had later."
"Oh, is that a promise?" Lourdes giggled, still twisting.
"You bet your fuckin' ass." He said putting his leg in between hers as she continued to struggle. "Careful," she said, "you don't want to do anything you might regret later."
"I appreciate your concern," he said, "but I've been thinking about this for a long time." There was a loud knock on the door. Lourdes laughed turning back slightly and licked the side of his face. "Looks like your time is up," she said, "is that all you got?"
Alex grunted, and slammed her completely down on the sink counter with his full body weight.
The bathroom door swung open and Sophie came back in. "What the fuck are you two doing?" She asked in shock. She swung the door shut behind her so nobody could see them.
"He-" Lourdes said choking out a laugh, still pinned against the sink. "He's trying to teach me some manners!"
"And is this how your mama taught you!" She scolded Alex. "What?" He asked. "We're just fooling around. And what the fuck did you give her?"
"Get off her!" Sophie said pulling on his arm. Alex backed up and let Lourdes go. She stood up, pulling herself together. "Thanks." She said to Sophie as she made her way past them. "Nice try." She said not looking at him. She opened the bathroom door, then turned to speak to Alex as dignified as she possibly could. "This," she said, "is the reason why we will always be friends." Lourdes took off fast, as Alex tried to reach for her while Sophie held him back. She was so busy laughing, she ran right into Isaac.
"Having a good time?" He asked.
"No, not really." Lourdes smiled.
"Right." He said. "What do you say we vacate the premises?"
"Sounds like a plan." Lourdes said turning to see Sophie and Alex coming. "I think they're ready to leave anyway."

"We need a new game!" Sophie proclaimed from the back seat. "Whaddaya think?" She asked Lourdes. "New game?"
"No more games." Alex said while driving. They had been in the car for at least 20 minutes already.
"Aww, your no fun." Sophie said. "He's no fun, is he always like this?"
"You tell me." Lourdes said. She caught his eye in the rear-view mirror.
"Usually he's a barrel of laughs." Sophie said. "Must be somebody in the car who's turning him into a dud!"
"I can't possibly imagine who you would be talking about." Lourdes said as Sophie laughed.
"Where to next?" Sophie asked. "Maybe a club? LAX? Le Deux? The Playhouse? I know people, we won't have to wait in line."
"Wow, so you weren't kidding." Lourdes said. "Bar, club, bar, huh?"
"We have another stop to make first." Isaac said. "Remember?"
"Oh yes." Sophie said, though Lourdes had no idea what they were talking about.
The car stopped and Alex and Isaac got out immediately. Lourdes looked around, there wasn't very much to see. An empty lot surrounded by trees. Lourdes thought she saw a home in the far off distance. "Where are we?" She asked Sophie, but the car door opened and Isaac pulled Sophie out. Lourdes got out also and stood next to Alex as he leaned against the car. Isaac took Sophie's hand as she waved at Lourdes. "Going to see a man about a horse." She said.
"Really?" Lourdes said. "So this must be the back entrance."
"You got it." Sophie called out to her.
"Be right back." Isaac said as they walked off.
"Where are they going?" Lourdes turned and asked Alex.
"Reinforcements." He said.
"Okay, I'm not even going to pretend to know what that means."
"Let's get back in the car." He said. "It's cold out here."
"Do vampires get cold?" She asked, teasing. He smiled and winked at her. Lourdes studied him. She recognized that look. She watched him walk around to the other side of the car. She opened the front passengers side door.
"No," he said, "let's get in the back."
She sighed quickly, deciding to let this play out, and slid into the back seat. Alex slid in next to her and slouched down, resting his head on the back. "They like you." He said.
"What's not to like?" Lourdes smiled.
"Plenty." He said. "You can be a hard shell to crack sometimes."
"Stop it," Lourdes joked, "I can't take all these compliments, I'm getting a big head." Alex ignored her sarcasm and kept talking. "Sophie really likes you. What have you two been talking about?"
"You." Lourdes said flatly. He turned his head and looked at her. "Why doesn't that sound like a good thing?" He asked.
"Because I thought I came out here to be with you, if I would have known that I'd be given the third degree I-"
"You wouldn't have come?" He sat up discouraged.
"I would have prepared myself. At least wore some armor."
"We've been busy all night, how much could she have possibly asked?" He put his hand on her thigh. Lourdes could tell this was not the conversation he wanted to be having. "Plus you seem to be having fun," he said, "at least when you were having a go at me."
"Girls talk." She said. "They can work a lot into a conversation in a very short amount of time."
Alex started rubbing his hand up and down her thigh. "Have I told you how absolutely sexy you look tonight?" He wasn't interested in her complaints and to be honest, she wasn't in the mood to go there either.
"No," she said looking out the window, "you've been too busy bashing my character."
"Forgive me." He smiled. "Because you are right."
"Right about what?" She asked.
"You're brilliant. What's not to like?" He said squeezing her leg. Lourdes smiled and looked at him. "Not quite a save, but almost." She said. "Kiss me." He said. She leaned in and kissed him soft and slow. She could feel his heart pounding fast as she rested one hand on his chest. "Lourdes-" He started to say as her cell phone began to ring. Lourdes leaned back and grabbed her purse. "I thought we had a rule about those while you were here." He said. "We do." She replied. "And I won't answer unless it's important." Lourdes froze. It was Gabriel. Definitely not the right time. She tossed the cell back in her purse. She could tell where Alex's intentions were heading and she didn't want the thought of Gabriel flashing through her mind.
"Glad I rank above whoever that was." He said leaning back in to kiss her again.
"I'm sure your friends will be back any minute." She said hoping to stall him.
"They'll be gone at least an hour." He said.
"What?" She asked looking around. "So why are we out here?"
Alex smiled at her, but said nothing. "Oh," Lourdes said playing catch up and looking down at his lap, "does that thing ever go down?"
"Not around you." He said.
Lourdes laughed. "Oh that's good. I guess I should take it as a compliment."
"I still want my present." He said.
Lourdes looked at him surprised, this couldn't possibly be leading anywhere in her favor. "I'm sorry," she said, "were we exchanging gifts?"
He nodded his head. This was a first to her. After everything they had been through, she thought it was best to keep their situation as simple as possible. "I thought only real couples do that." She muttered.
"Most real couples don't do half the things that we do together." He said. Lourdes choked back a laugh. "Do I need to reminisce?" He asked.
"Oh no, that's quite alright." She said looking out the window, trying not to blush. "Trust me, there's many, many things that are fresh in my mind."
"So let's create another memory." He said. Lourdes turned towards him. "And this," she paused, "is the present that you want?" He nodded his head again.
"We're outside in the middle of nowhere. Anybody could walk up!"
"We're on private property." He said.
She looked down at his lap. "You want me on my knees?" She asked point blank. "In your friends hundred thousand dollar car?"
"You read my mind." He smiled. Lourdes leaned in close to him. She got the feeling that a simple b.j. would be too easy. "You can have that anytime you want," she said smiling, "so what would make this occasion so special?"
He smiled and said nothing.
"Okay!" Lourdes laughed nervously. "I'm afraid you're gonna have to to tell me what's running through that head of yours, because now, I'm starting to get worried!"
"Come here." He said, pulling her close and whispering in her ear. She figured his request would be extravagant, but she still wasn't prepared for what she heard. Lourdes' mouth slowly dropped open as he made his elevated request. She sat back fast, in shock. "Fuck you Alex!" Was the only thing that came out, for better lack of words.
"What?" He asked innocently.
"You're cute but your not that cute!" She cracked.
"So I'm assuming you and Gabriel don't do this?" He asked sarcastically.
"Double fucker!" She said reaching for the car door and swinging it open. She definitely needed some air.
"Alright, alright!" He said grabbing her arm while laughing. "I'm a shit, I was just kidding!"
Lourdes paused, she had the car door halfway opened. "Kidding?" She said. "About which part?"
"Close the door." He said still smiling. "Please." Lourdes shut it. "That comment was unnecessary," he said, "but I'm afraid I was only kidding, about the Gabriel part."
Lourdes stared at him with her eyebrows raised. He couldn't possibly expect her to do his bidding.
"Come on," he grinned, "don't you want to make this a merry holiday?"
"For you or for me?" She asked.
"Go on then," he said, "it won't be as bad as you think. In fact, you might enjoy it."
"Ha!" Lourdes said smiling. Was she really about to do this? How much did she want to please him? And worst of all, she had no time to consult her favorite sex addicts on the do's and don'ts of...well, knowing the boys, they were all pros at....
Alex kissed Lourdes, initiating the first move and not giving her a chance to think. She kissed him back, unbuttoning his jeans. She was pretty sure he sprung this on her at the very last second, so she wouldn't have a chance contemplate what a dirty girl he was asking her to be.
