Look in the mirror, what do you see?
A reflection of yourself, the smile on your face
The hair on your head
And the clothes on your body
Me, I see a lie
The caracature created to fool each and everyone on earth
You look in the mirror and see yourself
I look in the mirror and see what I want to become.
Like a cage, I keep him locked up there
He is the darkest of dark secret(s) I keep hidden
I am torturing him everyday as well as myself
We are one and the same
I am tortured, he is trapped
Both longing for freedom
To come out as who we really are in life
Now, no more, not now, not ever
No more wishing
No more hoping
No more dreaming.
No more torturing
No more pulling under
No more of anything
Now I am setting him free
