Mulberry lane is the place I walk

It fills me with sorrow at the memories brought

Of how that one time I lost my way

And cheated on him, who made me stay

Even now, unto this day

I do not recollect the complex piece I must play

In the world itself, all over Ed

The boy who left me metaphorically for dead

I am living a lie of love and deceit

I cannot help this fact, although I weep

I weep for the loss of my dear Jake

And I weep much harder, for his sake

Mulberry lane is the place I go

The only place I will ever know

Left in a world I don't understand

Mulberry lane lends out its hand
