Miss you, Gran pa

Poetry By: Basilia

A girl sits in a park where she used to spend her evening times with her grand father. But her grandfather is no more ,she still visits the park to recollect all those memories

Miss You Grand pa

Evening in the park, touches me the cool breeze

Just in a wink bringing back all the memories

Sitting on that same bench which we used to

I'm missing you badly grand pa yes, I do

Things changed with time, even the little plant

Which you planted then, is now a huge tree ,slant

It is showing gratitude towards you

On this bench, it sheds leaves green few

Once our favourite bench now creaks

Those little birds now peck the trees with long beaks

I still miss our daily evening walk

Resting on this same bench we used to talk

Grand pa..I miss you very badly

I'm sitting on that same bench, weeping like your little girl sadly
