Fathers and Sons
It has been said that sons are put on this earth to trouble their fathers.
I do not find this to be true at all.
If nothing else sons are here to guide their fathers.
A father puts the roof over our heads, gives us the clothes on our backs
And the food we so desperately need.
There is no greater symbol of humility than that of a father.
Our fathers give us whatever we need and don’t ask anything of them.
Most humble of souls and yet so determined in their cause.
Fathers may lose sleep in order to provide for us,
But we are eternally grateful for all that they do.
Sons are the motivation behind their every move.
An annoyance at times, but we love them nevertheless.
Although most boys won’t admit it, then again I’m not most people.
If fathers are the backbone of a family then sons are the support.
All fathers are special creatures to their sons
But I say God Bless to my father.
Happy Father’s Day.
