This is Me, pt. II

Poetry By: elegantbleeding
Memoir

The second part to This is Me, Wishing You Were Here... Written much more recently after discovering that the meaning of my first officially published poem was incredibly temporal... READ PART ONE FIRST or this will make no sense whatsoever! Written in sonnet form.

Remember that poem I wrote?
I miss you.
All I can say tonight is that
It's still true-
Except I got rid of the photograph
And I threw away our letters,
So now all the memories we had
Are in my head forever.
Your eyes don't have to follow me,
They're always in my dreams.
I wish I could watch your every move,
Tell you how you've affected me...

For you, I'm faithful, forever true.

This last cut, darling, is for you.
