Memoir

I'm sorry...
here's a song to accompany it: Heartburn by Architects

I don't know what you saw in me
I wonder what you still see in me
I wrenched your heart
till the blood flowed free

I don't deserve you
you don't deserve this
I'm only cutting you

Your sharp gaze penetrates
But I have nothing to say
All this blame
makes me walk away

Now I know what it feels
to not have you by my side
how can this be
my tears mock me

I took you for granted
only regret and shame remains
You are no longer mine
go live your life without me

We never hugged
we never kissed
but I don't need all this

all is but a memory
forever gone in the mist

you don't need me
just let me rot alone
