There we were,

First as friends.

But then I asked her out,

And that was to go out with me forever.

Now girlfriend and boyfriend we are,

No, we have not gone for dates.

So I asked her out for dinner,

Eight o'clock that is.

She always looked pale,

But she was pretty to me.

Her eyes were sunk,

But they were gorgeous to me.

I was blindly in love with her,

She was everything to me.

She was the reason that I smiled,

She was the courage and my hero.

She most of the time is sick,

She says that she is down with fever.

She sometimes trembles,

But she is brave enough for me..

On the day of the date I called her,

It was just around seven.

Her mother picked up her phone,

And told the worst story in my life.

Annabel is hospitalized,

She is in the ICU.

I quickly rushed to the hospital,

Still wearing the date suit.

Her eyes were closed,

She's breathing heavily,

Her face is white,

It's like a piece of cloth.

I asked her mother,

She is terribly sick it seems.

And she has always has been,

So she is my hero for her courage.

She is down with a disease,

CF which is coming genetically.

She said some crossing of two genes,

A breathing disorder it seems.

At sharp eight o'clock,

Our date started,

The bell rang,

Which brought her death.

That's my first date,

And my first girlfriend.

Which lasted not forever,

But tears in my face.
