Interrogation of the Soul

Poetry By: L A Gardner

A question I've been forced to ask myself. It depresses me greatly to think about it, but I have yet to find the answer. I hope to very soon.

If writing is the most important thing to you, what does that mean?
Do you seek glory, or do you seek to glorify yourself?
If nobody reads what you write
do you cease to exist, or do you merely become insignificant?
Were you even significant to begin with at all?
What does it mean if writing is your life?
Does it mean that you have a desire to alter an unhappy reality?
If so, will you not get hurt once you must face it again?
And if you lose the will to write, does that mean you've lost the will to live?
What does it mean to have writing be your life?
