I'm watching you at a distance,
Reminiscing your life in one instance,
A single drop of water in the pail of a million millions.

And then I blink,
And all that's left is your cold shell,
The one that carried you through your life.

You can see the parts where you're light still somehow shines on me,
Like a flame still burning, you are there.
You give me the remorse and regrets I need to carry on,
Adjusting my view of my seconds of purpose in a lifetime.

How did you do it?
Love without regrets.
I miss you so much that I laugh so I won't cry.
Where are you now, Grandpa, can you still teach me there?
