Siblings
Together they stand close
Closer than the moon and star
Tomorrow they’ll fight fiercely
A war more fierce than that of Troy
Yet love will again be born
A love stronger than of Romeo and Juliet
Fearing taunting and humiliation
They will avoid each other at school
Like the distance between earth and sun
Yet they will ferociously stand up for each other
As mother bear and her dear cubs
They’ll taunt each other daily with regularity
As a corrupt police officer would taunt a prisoner
Yet they care for each other against all odds
As penguins care for their eggs in raging winter
They’ll be there for each in any time at all
Like sibling stay with each other forever
For that’s what they are, siblings
Nothing is as breathtakingly beautiful
As a love between siblings
Nor as heartbreaking tragic
As a loss of a sibling
Neither more priceless than having a sibling
