The Power of the Thought

Floating and swirling up in my head
Roaming free in the expanse of my mind
My precious thoughts belong to me alone
Locked inside where you cannot find

Only I may delve within this realm
Of untold depths of endless wondering
I can immerse myself in contemplation
Lost inside my world of pondering

Here I am free to be what I want
To indulge the interior of every notion
Here I am not bogged by constrictions
I can examine the strength of every emotion

Here I can dwell on every form of dream
Of every hope, no matter how plausible
Free to explore my every limitation
Within the vault of my mind, nothing is impossible

The bounds of reality are stripped and lost
Those heavy rusted chains are unlocked
The stone of actuality is rolled away
And the floodgates of thought are unblocked

We can all find this special place of muse
Just close your eyes and open the door
Enter the land where imagination never dies
Spread your wings through its sky and soar
