A new year a fresh start,
Baggage a thing of the past,
New things await me,
I can hardly wait,
Maybe a new love,
Or a job where people care,
Happy days and new memories made,
New friend’s new faces,
New horizons to see,
All this awaits me,
Maybe a hot summer to laze on the beach,
Or a holiday to remember,
Far out East,
Maybe a new home or even a car,
All my dreams locked in my heart,
Also New Year wishes to make,
Resolutions to keep,
Oh! What a year
I can hardly wait,
I pray it’s a good one
For you and for me
So a Happy New Year
And Memories made too!
