MEMORY NEVER FORGOT

Four special girls came to see me yesterday

They all call me mummy Crosby,

Laugh with me, talk with me,

Enjoy my company too,

12 months ago I managed a store

Mobiles were sold for Christmas galore,

The shop was a family

My four girls and me

Everyday we would smile

Have fun in all we did,

Customers were special,

Sweets were given to all

Christmases were special

We dressed in fancy dress

Raised money for charity

While serving in our shop,

Yet all too soon I went off ill

Then the girls ventured

To other jobs as well,

Yet still they come to see me

Twice a year at least and tell

All the things that’s happening

Within there special Worlds,

There very special girls

I cherish them to bits,

I thank them all for giving

Those special memories

In our shop,

For they made my job so wonderful

It’s a memory never forgot.
