Stillness of the night,
Quiet space for thoughts,
Memories buried deep,
Time to reflect,
Smile upon my face,
Warmth with in my heart,
Courage, strength and wisdom,
Gained from a reflected past,
Just a twinkle ling candle flickers in the room,
My space, my silence,
My prayer to you,
Each year since your death,
It’s my day I set aside for you,
My thoughts wonder freely,
The pain stands still in time,
Such a jewel, such a treasure,
To know you were once mine,
Your birthday loom’s not far away now,
18th March
I prepare again for this day,
I set aside for you and pray,
Your grave be miles away,
But the love I have for you,
Is hear locked inside my heart,
I’ve carried it through time.
For on earth and now in Heaven,
The purity of your love
Will stay with me forever, till the day I die.
Then when I meet you at the Gates of Heaven,
We will walk together side by side,
Through the Light Blue Skies
Knowing then I will never have to cry
For you will be then forever by my side.
