Dedicated to my special sister who died just 2 days ago
Only 55 full of life and a soul of love,
Many a heartache through the twisting paths of life,
She coped and endured with such strife,
Sitting hear in the dead of night
Not a sound just a broken heart,
I think of this year and what it's brought,
Nothing but pain and worry and now to top it all
A Christmas just to morn,
Life is cruel and so unkind mixed emotions all entwined,
I sit and look up on the shelf,
Of a poem in a carved book all of wood,
It reads
There is s gift we cannot buy,
There is a gift we cannot hold,
And yet this gift, we all can share,
IT IS THE GIFT OF LOVE,
My sister Karen gave this to me,
I will treasure it till eternity,
Now in Heaven she will be
With her Daughter Zena,
God Bless you both,
And all I can say is tomorrow will be
What it will be.
