YEARS GONE BY

Today I saw you walking,
You were not alone,
Another Lady by your side,
Hand in hand you slowly walked
As the sun glistened and shone,
Your heads held high, your hair blowing in the wind.
I ran but my feet did not seem to move
I cried out but no words came,
You both just kept on walking,
Both tall and slender,
I screamed your names
No voice could be heard,
Then you were both gone
My heart it cried, my body stood still
What a mystery in my mind,
Then I opened my eyes
It was just another dream
Of how the years have gone by,
Yet I sit now awake,
No sorrow, just a smile on my face,
To know my thoughts and Dreams
Of both of you, are now
Together in harmony
In Gods special place,
AMEN
