Now that we’re old and gone
You remember Jack
At Sunday school every weekend
We used to sing
In juvenile innocence
The songs of praise
To the one Lord God the creator
In louder and noisy tones
That shook the dominoes of hell
That soothed the rebel chap
Parading and lighting down the highway
That recounted of joy and salvation
That elicited the memories of redemption
That solaced our hearts
And blessed our souls
