Sudden turn of fortune
The place where I sat and gave me comfort
Whilst my friends wrote and progressed
And I sat and wept
Regretting and feeling pain
Mourning my negligence
And apparent laziness
But couldn’t figure out how
Or why it happened to me
For to some extent had gave out
My very best and deserved a laurel
Or some success of some sort
Despite everything of like nature
But now I go a happy man
With tears not of regrets but joy
Unspeakably joyous
Happiness on my heart
To my new college
All good dreams on course
Coming to the realistic
Some shall call it destiny
Others a hard fought victory
But I know it’s more than all that
It is the mysterious working of providence
Known as DG, Divine Grace
