Woman’s scholars
Intellectuals dressed up in beauty
I am wearing my ornate robes timeless
Looking at you through makeup
Burning eyes with makeup
Asian eyes

This poem is about my life.

The Geisha

For the Fatima My Love Writings

© 2011 Patricia McGurk Martin Hearst Himmler

Woman's scholars

Intellectuals dressed up in beauty

I am wearing my ornate robes timeless

Looking at you through makeup

Burning eyes with makeup

Asian eyes

We offered you a home

A place to rest

And you stabbed me

Pulling out a concealed knife

From my gown

From limousines I used to own

Crouching black limousines

Encircling me

The Geisha

They cornered me like a cat

With a dog whip

In his hand

For not letting him rape my soul

As an innocent

Male cats yearn to be birds

Again so they stalk

And devour the birds

Not caring about catness

Or the blackness of the Geisha's

Experience

In Egypt where the Pharoahs once roamed

Unsuccessfully in the long run

Failed also did the Aztecs, the Mayans

Perhaps the Incas

In the United States many have hated

the Asian Intellectual Woman

with royal robes

dressed in beauty with burning eyes

they were blue my burning eyes

what race crime?

they said

I say it was gendercide

as well as genocide

I never let it become a deicide

Or the killing of a deity

Having written the nature of charisma

It is the Geisha speaking
