A LYRE

THE MUSIC OF THEE LYRE
PLAYING WONDROUS SOUND TO HEAR
TIS A SPECIAL ONE OF LONG AGO
UPON IT'S BEAUTY HOLDING SEVEN GOLDEN STRINGS IN A ROW
AMAZINGLY PORTRAYED IN AN ANCIENT PAINTING
TIS AN ANGEL PLAYING WITHOUT FAINTING
THE SONG OF PERFECT HARMONY
TIS A MELODY OF UNITY
THY FATHER'S SWEET LOVE BEING UNCONDITIONAL
TIS NOT AS THE BEAST HAVE IT SUPERFICIAL
TIS A LOVE THAT DOES NOT REJOICES IN WICKED WAYS
TIS A LOVE SAYING YOU CAN CHANGE FOR THE BETTER EACH DAY
TIS A MESSAGE OF THY FATHER SAYING TAKE THY HAND
I WILL CARRY THEE NOT TO ALLOWEST YOU TO SINK WITHIN THE SAND
LET ME BE THOU GUIDE
UPON THE WATERS YOU SHALL GLIDE
ALLOWING THOU TO FLY WITH WINGS
TIS I GIVEN THOU NEW SONG TO SING
