My protector,

So still, So quiet, so calm,

Skin bare embracing the seasonal elements,

Cracks on the porcelain body worn from time,

Hands tenderly clasped, fingers tessellated,

Sadness etched on her sculpted face,

Welcomes passerby's with subtle sorrow,

No care given if ignored,

But willingly accepts bouquets of flowers,

Not a word spoken from her sealed lips,

Eyes watchful, staring at where I lie,

My only company,

Stone, cold, silent companion,

My Angel Headstone.
