I light three candles for you,
One for every year since you’ve passed...
I treasure the moments that we had
And the time that we spent
Together. Forever. Grand dad and daughter.
I remember the last time we saw each other,
Three Christmas’s ago; you hugged me and it felt like
You’d never let me go, like you’ll never leave
Because the love we shared and the blood bond we had,
Was too strong...
But then that moment came...
Death knocked at your door and stole you away
And just like that,
Gone.
Oh how you are greatly missed!.
So, I light three candles for you,
One for every year since you’ve passed
And for every year that soon we shall be together again...
In Paradise, Heaven, in one accord, together, praising the Lord,
Amen.
