Dancing with Ghosts

by SheaRyhai © 2009

What am I waiting for,

facing a broken door.

Lets just forget the past again.

Mistake to reach to you,

perception I can't break through.

The other half you must open.

I'm better off just turning around.

But I scream and knock

hoping you'll hear a sound.

Don't know if I could be what you need.

Can I be your friend

while still being me?

Comfort in silent streets,

I bow but do not retreat.

Letting this Madness run its course.

Never claimed I could save,

blocking your self dug grave.

Repeating "please try" until I'm hoarse.

Yes it's your life, it's all your choice.

But you chose suicide

through all this noise.

So I said goodbye while trying to forgive.

I was on your side

till you chose not to live.

Dancing with ghosts again,

scribbling words through a pen.

Yes, I miss you still...
