Ever Long

You stay in my eyes for ever long, But come in my sight for never long! I was there cause you wanted me to be, I kept my self where you could forever reach me, The feelings kept burning, torturing and killing, As you were there where I could catch you! Where I could see you, I could touch you! Where I could see you, I could hold you! But you never helped to make it possible, You were there and nowhere near, You’ve stayed in my eyes for ever long, Just having you in sight wasn’t different at all, It wasn’t like in last night’s dream, Or the one before, or the one that followed, You always used to come into my arms, With your head on my blade and your beat in my heart. As it touched yours around and made both one! Why can’t it be like that? You just keep moving farther and farther away, Till I won’t see you anymore, till I won’t feel you anymore. You stay in my eyes for ever long! But come in my sight for never long!
