Longing to taste some of what life has to offer

Explore new things, write my own story

Poems and short stories I want to author

See what it feels like to have my own glory

I am tired of being bounded by chains

It is time I stood up and spread my wings

I want the freedom to not have to explain

This puppet wants to cut all the strings

I might try some stories about having sex

Maybe a poem about romance and love

Make some analogies that are complex

I will probably try all the above

I hope my readers will be sweet and kind

And a chance to fit in with the crowd

I hope my writing is not too unrefined

I want to create works that make me proud
