Battle Scars

I hardly breathe in one day

Kneeling down to catch my breath

Crazy, Crazy, Crazy

they all say but you know the truth

You have battled the apocalypse sweat pouring from skin the color like blood

The devil stabs you hard like the first blow of an earthquake, then again hoping to give you hell

You battle like a fish trying to escape a net, you give it your all, you struggle through the torture, you want to give up

Then one day your mouth overcomes it all, turned around you unleash your fury like hells fire burning below your feet and like a fire hose you exterminate the hell beneath you

All that remain are the battle scars, shown noticeably like the first crystals of snow of winter, beautiful like a new born baby and strong like the United States Army
