You look so beautiful today I wish I could stay because you feel so far away. When you call my heart stops beating when you’re gone it won’t stop bleeding. This is the way I feel god help me to get back to you. I won’t give up because I can wait forever. Till the day when I come back I can wait forever. Every time I turn around I see your face. It’s like you’re so near when you’re so far away. I’ll promise I’ll come home to you as you can wait forever. Forever is a long time but that's just how much I love you.
This poem was inspired by the song I can wait Forever by Simple Plan. I have armed forces members in my family and three of them have either been to Iraq or afganistan so this comes from my heart about how I feel about them.
