9/11 - Second Poem

Poetry By: TwoStepz

Just another poem to show my sadness for the lives lost.

So imagine the hate that builds in the heart,

when you realise the goverment could have taken part,

but didn't?

Imagine the feeling of sadness,

that wraps over you like a blanket,

but then that small feeling of hope,

that brings a smile to your face and causes you to thank it.

Imagine saying goodbye,

and not waking up the next morning to a 'hi'.

Imagine loosing someone innocent and pure,

over a fight that is so immature.

I hate the fact that they had to die,

the fact that they had to jump out,

it's too sad to think about,

making me want to shout out.

No, I don't feel all the pain,

as I haven't lost anyone,

but think about the people,

that have lost someone.

But when they come to heaven's doors,

they'll be let in straight away,

because God will have mercy on them,

and in heaven they'll stay.

Whilst the killers will burn,

far deep down in hell,

the smell of burning flesh,

what a putrid smell.

So let us pray on this special memoir of a day,

for the justice of all of the innocent people.
