It's a beautifull place.........
Light tumbles slowly, like hay falling down
the wind stirs the tulips and gives the green grass a voice
With out bright city lights, darkness makes the full moon seem brighter
The stars dance in the shadows of bonfires all around the world
A scent on the breeze brings back old memories
A familliar taste with a bitter sweet edge
My eyes see colours only my heart knew before
I hear the old songs and cant recall the words
I feel so at peace here, a calm world I used to know
But things have changed........
The rough grain of my child hood has been polished smooth with times passing
My dollie still smiles but her arms are to small to hold me
My teddy bears fur has lost its sheen in places I remember my tears once fell
My cott sits in a corner, abandonned and cast aside
The wall paper has peeled, the carpets thin beneath my feet
With so many differences their's still one thing that remains
This familliar warm glow still embraces me
My families smiling faces have creased with age but the love is still there
This strenght, and inner confidence.
This warmth, that cradles and rocks me slowly, It saiz-
"I love you, and that will never, ever, change."
