train questions....vendors, coolies, second class...
hmmm....SHRUTI...a name that rings bell ....
first and foremost - is this fiction??
i tend to get involved in the story and forget myself and that is why i loved this...one...
i am sure u would keep the readers' who come over and read the START and POST the chapters at a regular interval....
As for me, i am lost in the PLOT.....
i am sure she IS going to be all over the story....reminds me of the novel "Anything for u MA'am!!" by one IIT guy ....
But this one is different....very very different....the name SHRUTI is common...that's all....i found this one more interesting....

Hello Balaji, you've started the story well. You know, after reading the first couple of paragraphs, I was reminded of Ruskin Bond, and lo and behold! You mentioned his book soon! I love stories set around hills and I really hope this one would build up to one such story. I also like the introspective, anguished, restless tone of the narrator. It will be interesting to see how this story develops. By the way, I am partial to the side lower berth too, and the mutually beneficial exchange of berths brought back memories of many a train journey to my mind!
