Once there was a lonely teacher, who taught a small group of students. these students never really loved her English classes, but managed to do fairly well in them. One day, the teacher found a crumpled note on her desk.

"Dear teacher. I wrote a poem. From a student."

The teacher continued to look down the page, and saw a little poem.

"Fights and screams

grow loud around me

just as my mind

closes inside me

I must control

this hate and fear

because the only voice I trust

is the one whispering in my ear.

and just as I thought

they didn't see me

so I laid down on my cold floor

as if its all meant to be."

The teacher was very curious on what student of hers could write this, it showed pain that no little kid she's met could have wrote. she held the crumpled paper in her hand, and she knew what she was going to teach her class that day.

She read the poem outloud for the class, and asked them all to reflect on it. She was so impressed! Every student had something to say, it wasn't until the very end of class did they finish discussing the poem. it was a that time, that one of the boys raised his hand.

"Teacher. how come she," -he pointed at a little girl in the back of the room- "hasn't said anything about the poem?"

The teacher smiled, and looked at the little girl. Then the teacher asked her what she thought about the poem, and the girl replied silently, "But you already know what I think, teacher." then the bell rang, and the girl walked out of the room with the rest of her class.

The next day, the teacher found another note on her desk, very similar to the one that held the poem. it read:

"Yesterday, I wrote that poem. My daddy and mommy have been fighting, and mommy had a heart attack, and died. daddy is so upset, that he can't take care of me anymore. so now I'm going away somewhere, I'm not sure where yet. Yesterday was my last day. Please keep my poem, I want you to have it."

And when the teacher walked into her classroom, there was only one little girl missing.
